Deviation Actions
Description
Not long after the appearance of Celestial Being and its four Gundam mobile suits, the Union sprang into action to deploy its own "Anti-Gundam-Interception-Unit". The unit was to be lead by ace pilot Graham Acre, and to this end he was supplied with a specially-modified SVMS-01 Flag.
The "Graham Acre Custom", as it's called, features several improvements over the basic Flag design. For one, it's a good deal faster than its mass-produced brethren, thanks partially to a G-cancellor system built into the cockpit. This relieves the pilot of much of the g-forces inherent in high-speed maneuvering, allowing for better control. To defend against the Gundams' devastating beam weapons, the G.A. Custom is coated in an anti-beam material that at least partially absorbs the beam's energy. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, the G.A. Custom carries an experimental high-power rifle that should, theoretically at least, deliver enough punishment to damage a Gundam.
Of course, all of this is wrapped up neatly in a stylized custom paint-job with a sleeker, more menacing head design.
So far (as of episode 4), the G.A. Custom has actually held its own against the GN-001 Gundam Exia, where its speed, maneuverability, and the power of its new rifle were enough to force the Gundam into retreat underwater.
