GNX-603T GN-X 'Jinx'

Born of treachery but destined to play a vital role in uniting the world under one flag, the GN-X mobile suit is the next-best thing to an actual Gundam.

The GN-X, or "Jinx" as it has become known, is the first mobile suit other than the Gundams of Celestial Being to be equipped with a GN Drive. It starts with a man known as Lagna Harvey, a wealthy businessman involved in the linear train industry, provides funding and tactical support to team Trinity of Celestial Being. By doing so, he gains access to information on Trinity's Gundam Throne mobile suits, and manages to steal the design for their pseudo-GN Drives. Then, using his vast wealth and resources, he manages to roll out 30 of these powerful reactors, which he "donates" to the three national superpowers of the world (the Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations, the Advanced European Union, and the Human Reform League). This is how the GN-X came to be.

The GN-X stands at 19 meters in height, weighing 70.4 metric tons (heavier than any of the Gundams). Its pseudo-GN Drive (otherwise known as a GN-Tau Drive) gives the GN-X the same gravity-defying flight capabilities as the Gundams, while simultaneously powering a small arsenal of weaponry. Standard loadout includes a GN Beam Rifle (hand-held, usually by right arm), a GN Shield mounted on the left arm, at least 1 GN Beam Saber, and a pair of fire-linked GN Vulcan Guns built into the head (these are basically miniature GN Beam guns with a fast rate of fire). Because the GN-X utilizes a GN-Tau Drive, it must recharge after each sortie. Like the Gundam Thrones, the GN Particles emitted by Jinx are red, rather than green.

Given such amazing power and mobility compared to previous mobile suits, only the top ace pilots from the three nations were selected to operate the GN-Xs. Ten aces from each country were rounded up, and were then formed into a single fighting force in the name of the United Nations. Among them were Colonel Sergei Smirnov and the super-soldier Soma Peries of the HRL, Patrick Colasour of the AEU, and former "Flag Fighter" Daryl Dodge of the Union forces. The GN-X unit was charged with the sole mission of eliminating the threat of Celestial Being and its Gundams.
