Char's Mobile Suits

These are the three (official) mobile suits piloted by Char Aznable (a.k.a. Casval Rem Deikun). His blindingly fast reflexes and fighting style, coupled with his signature red paint scheme earned him the nickname "The Red Comet" early on in the One Year War. Here's a description of each of these beauties:

1. MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type: Equipped with a high-output reactor, slightly thicker armor, and twice as many boosters, this variant is nearly three times faster than a normal Zaku II. Char was given this new model after shooting up to the rank of Captain.

2. MSM-07S Z'Gok Commander Type: As with the MS-06S, this mobile suit is also equipped with a more powerful reactor, but instead of heavier armor, it uses slightly less than the standard MSM-07(albeit the remaining armor has been reallocated throughout the body for economical use). The result is a moderately lighter and faster version of the Z'Gok.

3. MS-14S (YMS-14) Gelgoog Commander Type: This particular Gelgoog is actually a pre-production "test-model" of the later MS-14A Gelgoog. It sports higher thruster output, and is considered to be generally more powerful than the later mass-produced model. Note: The "YMS" registry is reserved for experimental prototypes, of which this Gelgoog was originally intended to be.
